Title: Suggested Ports Post by: nmatese on Friday 12 February 2010, 02:28:33 pm Can anyone suggest the ports that need to be opened for a non-transparent proxy. Currently I have the outgoing firewall blocking port 80 and 443 to force my users to utilize the proxy. All other default outgoing ports are enabled. My current proxy settings are as follows:
80 # http 21 # ftp 70 # gopher 210 # wais 1025-65535 280 # http-mgmt 488 # gss-http 591 # filemaker 777 # multiling http 800 # Squid (for icons) 8200 #Gotomeeting SSL: 443 # https 563 # snews 3001 # ntop 1025-65535 8200 I would like to lock things down a little more, but I do not want to block certain websites from running optimally.
