 Huh
Hey Everyone:

I am having a Dickens of a time trying to resolve this issue....I have  set up Dynamic DNS to connect to my Efw because the ISP has been issuing Dynamic IP Addresses. At one time, I use to be able to connect to EFW from anywhere to make a change to firewall rules, respond to intrusion attempts...etc.

Is there a fix for this or what am I doing wrong?

Btw....What is the cost for the EFW software....I am thinking about getting  a paid subscription somewhere down the road.

Thanks,

Have you tried accessing the site using the IP address only?

If you ping your dyndns name does it return the correct IP?

What port are you running the admin page on?

Have you been able to access from the outside in the past?

Do you have the port open in the firewall?

I am at loss regarding why I cant access the remote interface remotely....At one time a long time ago it worked. I had opened port 22 inbound since I was trying to do some testing for upcoming redhat class with will require for me to access a grading server off site...

In any case I am pretty sure the settings are correct....Everything else is working for the most part.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
