Firewall causing slow internet speed

Hi all,

We recently got a new internet connection and ever since we switched over to the new connection we are experiencing a problem whereby the connection speed is dramatically reduced when going through the firewall.  This is the case with both connections and I have gone through all the settings and cannot for the life of me see anything that could be causing the problem.  When I try do a speed test through the firewall I get an error "Upload Error, There was an error "Upload test returned an error while trying to read the upload file"  It doesn't always bring up that error though. 

Has anyone else ever experienced this problem with the firewall?
