how to deny gmail and gtalk ?

I tried to block gmail and gtalk with proxy server, if anybody put  w w w . g m a i l . c o m  on browser it works fine and endian deny gmail. But if any of my users go to w w w . g o o g l e . c o m  and click on the gmail link on the top of the screen, the endian doesn't deny gmail.

How can I solve this problem?

Just block mail.google.com and thats all...
