Title: Deny navigation without proxy Post by: Lucas Rey on Tuesday 13 November 2012, 09:35:41 am Dear community, I installed and configured Endian Firewall 2.5.1 and it's working fine except for the proxy. I enabled NON TRASNPARENT proxy, configured content filters, added users and groups.... When I setup the proxy into the browser (IE, Chrome & Firefox) it ask me for username and password and the content filter works. But if I setup the browser without the proxy it override all the rules and also the content filter. I also tried to create a policy with no user and action DENY, but with no success. Could someone help me to understando on how deny navigation without setup the proxy? Thanks Lucas Title: Re: Deny navigation without proxy Post by: Lucas Rey on Tuesday 13 November 2012, 06:02:56 pm OK, find the solution myself! ;)
Without proxy, Endian will use the classic firewall rules. So I have to remove port 80 and 443 from Firewall allow rules. The down side of this configuration is that without proxy setup on browser, the navigation will be denied at all without asking for password. |
