hi all. ive installed endian 2.3 (previously used 2.2) and  i need to be able to exclude 2 users from authenticating.

i have local authentication set-up and all but 2 users get content and anti-virus filtered. i have excluded two users because it seems to cause issues with barclays (bank)  banking application. in versions 2.2 of endian i was able to exclude the users ip addresses and this resolved the issue.

is this possible in the new version of endian. if so where is the setting.. it used to be under proxy > http > authentication > and then it was a box with the title source subnet/ip/mac without authentication using "default settings" (one per line).....

if its not possible does anyone know how i can fix it....

the page is accessible but certian things dont work correctly like drop down boxes and buttons... i think its sone kind of java application embedded into a website.

thanks

adam

ok... after a little persistence and a bit of browsing i found the following
http://efwsupport.com/index.php?topic=1084.0

this gave me the building blocks and instead of setting certain domains from any destination to not require authentication... i just set source ip to any destination to not require authentication

hope helps someone else
