I installed Endian Community 2.5.1 on a new box last September. Using the default setup, and after configuring a few ports, it ran fine and our Internet access was fast.

We have done nothing to the box or the software.

As of yesterday, Internet access became very slow (e.g., from 20Mbps download to less than 1Mbps). I attempted to reboot using the internal reboot (Shutdown > Reboot), which did not to work, so I manually shut off the firewall box, waited and restarted it. It sped up to what seemed like its previous speed. Now it's slowed down again.

I've also rebooted my computer, and shut off anti-virus -- no joy.

I'm not sure where to go with this. Could anyone point me in the right direction here?

Disable antivirus, set it to 0MB Max Content scan size, do not use antivirus on any HTTP rule or content filter.

Also make this change:

Thanks. Not sure I would do without anti-virus, but I did uninstall/reinstall it when I originally posted. No change.

Then, the next day, everything was fine again (and has been since then). Unfortunately, I have no idea what caused the slowdown.

But thanks for your help.
