hiya guys.. im a new EFW user. im using EFW 2.4.1 ce installed on a decent tower... i dont have the specs off hand, but they far exceed the requirements of EFW. its an i5 with 4 gigs of RAM and 160gig raid0+1 HD array.

i have the EFW set up to act as a content filter for a campus. its running in transparent proxy mode and has very little else set up.. no special routes really besides access to the OWA box that sits on a side net...

so when my teachers try to access the website "webs(dot)com", i get an error i have never seen before:
ERROR

The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: hXXp://webs.com/

The following error was encountered:

Connection Failed

The system returned:
(111) Connection refused

The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

i have tried a policy to allow all user agents, but that didnt go. i tried to create a proxy bypass for that address, but that didnt fly...

so how can i allow access to the site? is there some way i can bypass the proxy for this URL or is there a way i can configure the proxy to work with it? i have allowed all ports to all location in and out, but still nothing...

any ideas?
