Hi Forum,

I'm in the process of finding an alternative solution to our current Cisco ASA+BlueCoat ProxySG solution.
Currently my choice seems to be between pfSense on homebuild HW or Endian (just snooping around the demo interface...), and therefore have some question:
1. What OpenSource products is Endian based on ?
2. Does Endian support build-in two-factor-authentication - like e.g SMSpassword similar functionality, by e.g. adding USB GSM modem ?
3. Does Endian support both inbound (carp?) and outbound (BGP?) loadbalancing failover ?
4. Does Endian support enduser LDAP/AD authentication for specific functions (proxy, hotspot, VPN, SMSpasscode [+phonenumber]) ?
5. Does Endian support syslog management from webgui ?

Thanks in advance Smiley !

Platform: Endian Firewall Community 2.5.1 - we have successfully configured AD authentication (NTLM) for the HTTP proxy-server in our company.
