Ok, after battling a portforwarding issue for over a week, when using our endian firewall behind te router, in order to divert to a DMZ...I decided to first come here with the next setup I'd like to try out.

So, the current setup is: Modem --> EFW --> L3 Switch (previously: Modem --> Cisco router --> EFW --> Layer 3)

Now, I know the Endian Firewall supports VPN, but I would like to try configuring VPN on the Cisco router, behind the firewall. hence Modem --> EFW --> Cisco Router --> Layer 3 Switch.
The Cisco router would then act as VPN gateway and IPS device.

My question: I want to configure IPSEC on the router: How do I have it pass-through the endian firewall?
