I was wondering if endian firewall supports network authentication? Not just proxy but full network authentication.
Lets say I plug a computer into the lan and then windows will ask me for a username and password before I can access the network at all or can this be done on the wifi network?

Thank you
Eric.

It seems that you are talking about 802.1X (wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.1X). But it should be configured on your switch. EFW is a firewall, a solution that secures you from the threats of the outer world.

Thank you for the reply actually with my cisco router with the LAN we can setup Network authentication so if you plug a computer into the lan it will ask for a username and password to access the network. If we dont type in a userid and password we cannot access any systems on the network at all not just websites. I would like to setup this feature if possible.

Thank you!
