I installed EFW 2.2rc3 in a virtual machine and it works fine with authentication from an (LDAP v3) Active directory domain configuration.
After update the distribution to 2.2 (final) from updates.endian.org the group policy of EFW do not longer work correctly. Only groups with "unrestricted" policy are able to surf the internet by the proxy and every other groups with "default policy" which is "Antivirus and Content filtering" are not able to surf because do not bypas s the authentication process. This is probably a problem with ACLs on squid that are not updated correctly.

Reverting the snapshot to the 2.2rc3 the authentication returns to work.

Anyone have noticed this problem?

I have received other feedbacks on bugs.endian.com which I open a report. If anyone has got the same behaviour please report there.
For some reasons, not always is preferrable windows authentication against LDAP authentication on active directory, so, even if I tested to work windows authentication on EFW 2.2, I'd like get to work also LDAP auth.
