Title: Startup services Post by: Monska on Friday 09 April 2010, 08:17:00 am Hi at all,
I'm new to endian and i have a question about startup services. I have a small hardware and i want to optimize the time of boot. In my case, for example, i don't use the web proxy (but it can be the ipsec), and i want to disable this service at startup. To do this, is sufficient the Code: chkconfig squid off Thank's for your attention. Monska Title: Re: Startup services Post by: mrkroket on Sunday 11 April 2010, 03:14:09 am There is no chkconfig on Endian. Enable and disable services via web interface or eventually via /etc/rc.d.
If you disable Web Proxy on web server, it doesn't run. Just check Status->System Status to see what is running. Title: Re: Startup services Post by: g.vecchi on Friday 06 April 2012, 07:39:12 pm What about starting new services? How to configure on boot?
