The IPsec GUI has also been modified. On a side-note... actually it was not the case that we hadn't included the drivers in the kernel... quite the contrary - there were too many drivers... this led to a situation where these drivers would override the actual driver and therefore the hard disks could not be recognized... sometimes strange things happen... Sorry again... Christian Title: Re: EFW-2.4-RESPIN Post by: smyunus on Friday 04 June 2010, 01:41:29 pm Hi,
I am downloading EFW-2.4-RESPIN for setting up after I had a bad experience in EFW 2.3.0, where I was unable to connect to internet thru PPOE. I am afraid that whether I would face the same in 2.4 too. Also I would like to inform you that during my 2.3.0 installation everything went fine, except my uplink failed to connect. I was really wondering, when the same MODEM, cable, and credentials provided by ISP works fine in my IPCOP firewall. In EFW 2.3.0, I could see the RED interface was up in the dash board, but it never connect to internet at all. Am I missing anything during network configuration. Hope you guys could help me on this matter. Thanks in advance. Regards Yunus |
