I have a problem with configuring efw to publish dns server. I have setup orange zone with private addressin 192.168.100.0/24 i have bind dns server on ip 192.168.100.12 i have efw interface on ip 192.168.100.3 100.3 is dg for bind bind can ping google.com i have a port forwarding/ nat rule that says: all tcp/udp that comes from red on port 53 translate to 192.168.100.12 on efw log i see that connections are alowed , but dns server doesnt work. I put clinet machine on 192.168.100.22 and say that dns server is on 192.168.100.12 and it resolves names normally. I put ISA server on same ip adresses as EFV is and shut down EFV , my dns server works , dns resolving works from internet. So this means that i have missed something in configuration of EFV , but can`t figure out what? Can anyone help please? Maybe som guide how to publish dns server with EFV? |
