I am just posting a solution here, might be helpful to others. Recently we blocked facebook chat and messenger (andoird/ios app) on our network. I have blocked a single url which is working for me. Under Proxy tab go to Access Policy. Create a new policy: Source: Any Destintion: .channel.facebook.com (remember to put dot "." before the word channel) This policy should be the first policy in the list. Apply the changes and restart squid. All done. Hope this helps. |
