External link is configured for PPPoE. Afgter the connection is established, the default gw is not added automatically and no DNS servers gets added to /etc/dnsmasq/resolv.conf
After about two minutes the pppd is terminated with the following entries in the log

Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost pppd[15338]: Terminating on signal 15
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost pppd[15338]: Connect time 1.8 minutes.
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost pppd[15338]: Sent 0 bytes, received 648 bytes.
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost pppd[15338]: Connection terminated.
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost pppd[15338]: Terminating on signal 15
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost pppd[15338]: Exit.
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost uplink[main]: Notify uplinks daemon about status change of uplink 'main'. Status id FAILED
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost uplink[main]: Uplink 'main' status: 'OFFLINE'
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost uplink[main]: Could not successfully call pppd
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost uplink[main]: Notify uplinks daemon about status change of uplink 'main'. Status id FAILED
Jan  3 12:09:36 efwhost uplink[main]: Uplink 'main' status: 'OFFLINE'

I can manually set the default gaateway, and add the correct entries to the dnsmasq's resolv.conf, but it does not solve the 2 minute disconnect problem.

Besides, the SNAT does not work from behind the green interface

I see on the bug tracker that this is know and the fix is "coming soon" bugs.endian.it/view.php?id=4233&nbn=2

Caught me off guard and spent a few hours wondering what was going on.  I am upgrading from V2.2.

How long till there is a bug fix release for 2.5?

Should I install 2.4 and wait for the 2.4 to 2.5 upgrade or wait for the bug fix to 2.5?
