I have a HP dx2300 with 4 card readers in the front panel. when i try to install it, asks me if i would like to enable software raid for both drives (which are shown to have the same capacity), even though i only have one hard drive installed?! (stupid me even opened the case thinking a new drive magically appeared by some computer fairy) I say no, because i have only one HDD and the system freezes trying to partition the disk. i am sure it has something to do with the card readers? Theres no option to disable this in the bios, and unplugging the card reader stops the install from asking me to enable software raid, but I still get frozen. I even tried enabling the software raid, with no joy. is there any way to force install to a particular hard drive? theres never an option. it just says it will kill everything on your disk, then does stuff without human intervention... guys bring back the control! the dx2400, which is basically the same machine, does not suffer like this.
