Hi
I'm wondering if there's a way to connect to Endian Firewall Configuration from home...
I want to avoid going to the phisical office each time the boss wants to unblock a new url or change some config

1) Should I install some EFW plugin or module?
2) Should I enable some ports in EFW config before accessing from home?
And finally
3) Is there any way to know the actual IP of EFW? Like installing some dyndns on it

The machine is connected -RED- directly to the DSL modem and gets a dynamic IP

Thanks a lot in advance,

If you don't have static IP you must use some kind of DynDNS.

Besides that, you can connect without problems.
I connect to a static IP Endian perfectly, by using OpenVPN. 100% uptime, never failed me. Even with rerouting to another Endian via a 2nd VPN tunnel.

1) yes, I have dyn IP. How could I install DynDNS -or similar- on Endian FW? Is there a plugin?

2) I don't know a lot about vpn. Do you have some link so I can learn/configure that on Endian and in my home Windows PC (from which I'll access)

Thanks again

On Service->Dynamic DNS

About VPN, is pretty simple. Just enable the OpenVPN server on firewall, then install the OpenVPN client on your PC. Add the config file and the certificate that the firewall gives you. There must be some tutorial elsewhere about that.
