I don't seem to be able to connect to my pop server which is behind orange.

from green I can telnet to the public ip of my mail server on port 110.

from green I can telnet to  the private ip of the mail server as it is behind orange.

when I nmap the public name of the mail server It shows all ports I am interested in having open, as 'open' except pop3, which is listed as 'filtered.'

I have created at ip forwarding rule exactly the same as my rule for http and smtp (except for port 110 of course)

Is their something special about pop3, that I need to set up on endian so I can reach my mail server on port 110?

I have tried enabling, and disabling pop3 proxy, and various other things, but my nmap results never seem to change, hence, I can never telnet to the machine via pulic or private ip on port 110. I have no problem telnetting to the machine via port 25. (which nmap lists as open)

Thanks for any hints.
