I just wanted to report that the apcupsd addon works fine with Endian v2.2 you can find it at its new location here:

http://endian.mcabig.net/files/apcupsd-3.14.1-endian1.src.rpm

nope.
but i use a plink Script
on a management server i run that script after all Systems are Shutdown
then plink connects to Endian Firewall and does a shutdown.

Other Options not possible,
no UPS support :(
