Title: Bridged mode
Post by: den64 on Saturday 17 July 2010, 08:34:26 pm
It would be nice if Endian firewall community version could be used in bridged mode

Anybody that likes this Idea please post a reply to show support.

Thanx

Den64,

EFW does support Bridged mode...
I have my DSL router setup for Bridged mode no problems there.

my modem passing on auth to Endian...you setup it up the first time you connect to web interface.

Hi,

I think were not on the same page, Bridging your modem  doesn' t mean Endian supports bridged mode. The bridging mode I was referring to is when you can bridge 2 network interfaces on your appliance/firewall  and once you've  configured it you can just drop it into your network at your chosen location without any change of configuration of the network itself which last i checked Endian didn't support it.
