Title: POP3 Proxy dies unexpectedly Post by: Joachim on Wednesday 08 September 2010, 12:17:33 am Hello everybody,
last week I did an fresh install of Endian 2.4. Before I used v. 2.2 which was running stable without problems. The new one also works fine except the POP3 proxy, which dies sometimes up to 2 times a day and my mailserver in the green network is no longer able to receive messages. When I re-enable the service with the Web-GUI everything ist ok again immidiately. This problem is not (only) a bug in v 2.4 but also in 2.2 which I run in another company. But on the box that I updated as mentioned above the POP3 proxy always ran without dying suddenly. Configuration hasn't change. Could anybody please give me an advice/hint how to solve this problem? If it is right there to disable the POP3 proxy. There are also problems Windows 7 if you activate the POP3 PROXY. I have not found the solution |
