Title: EFW Firewall, Proxy Configurations Post by: pcdoktor on Saturday 31 January 2009, 09:55:33 pm Hi, I was able to install EFW successfully but i have two things that i can't figure it out.
1. If i connect my DSL modem directly to one of my NIC which is the RED interface, I can continuously pinging both my workstation and EFW machine but i don't have internet connections. 2. If i use a router and directly connected my DSL modem to WAN port and plugged my GREEN (NIC) Interface and my workstation to two available ports from my router... I can browse the internet but i think the content filter under Proxy is not working because i tried to put www.youtube.com under blacklist of Custom filter and save it, I can still access you tube. I think i am already connected with EFW becoz my DNS has been changed from 192.168.0.1 to Primary 192.168.0.1 Alternate 192.168.0.15 Is there anyone there who can help me figure it out?
