I forwarded internal facing port 2121 to a local IP and now i am unable to view the config gui. I suspect there is a bug with this as all ports internally are being forwarded. So without me having to re install and restore from a backup is there a way to disable this forwarding rule to restore gui access?

Are you able to login via ssh or physically ? If yes than use iptables-save > location/file and see the rule that you have added. Than just replace the letter A (append) with D (delete)...
