Hi,

I installed the latest efw 2.4.1 and I am trying to install the devel tools from the EFW-COMMUNITY-2.4.1-devel-srpm-rpms.tar.gz. When I run:
rpm -vhi *
inside the EFW-COMMUNITY-2.4.1-201011120951/DEVEL_RPMS directory I get:
error: Failed dependencies:
        libtool is needed by build-essential-0.4-endian3.i586
        ncurses-devel is needed by build-essential-0.4-endian3.i586
        libselinux-devel is needed by build-essential-0.4-endian3.i586

        glibc-devel >= 2.2.90-12 is needed by gcc4-4.1.2-14.endian1.i586

I can't find any rpm-build package for efw, there's no libtool package and a lot of other packages that are required to build stuff are missing. Or am I doing something wrong?

Where can I get those packages?
Please help

Thanks

This can't be for real. I can't compile source on a Linux distribution??? That would be the stupidest decision for any self respecting Linux developer to do.

This distribution is really starting to make me consider building something from scratch using Debian or FreeBSD.
