I am just evaluating EFW, and it is awesome compared to two other leading FW I have used for a few years each.

HOWEVER, I am shocked that there is no way to update the URL Blacklists, that one has to understand the workings of Dan's Guardian and manually patch in new files, some reformated.  Further, that the list that ships with the recently releases version is over four years old!  Isn't the idea of something like this that you push a button and it happens?  The controls for every other function are worlds ahead of the others I have used.  It is just a huge inconsistency... apparently.

Am I missing something big-time?

Thanks.

Reading Endian site, the Endian Community Feature Comparison page, under the "Updates and Backup" section lists "URL Blacklist Definitions.  This is good news!

So evidently I HAVE missed something, although for the life of me I cannot find where/how to update the URL Blacklist Definitions.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

By creating a cron job that updates URL Blacklist.

There was a post some time ago covering this.

content filter logs are not displayed correctly. Seems non-ip network logs. Do you have a solution to this problem?
