Hello Guys,

i have a little problem. When i am testing some vlan setting i debarred myself. Over my VM vShere Client i can connect to the console. I had found the vlan setting at /proc/net/vlan/config and will save my changes. I cant save my change because Endian is running. How can I stop the Endian service?

Here is the error message:

WARNING: The file has been changed since reading it!!!
Do you really want to write to it (y/n)?
y
"/proc/net/vlan/config" E667: Fsync failed
WARNING: Original file may be lost or damaged don't quit the editor until the file is successfully written!
HIT Enter or type command to continue

Please help me?

How can i change the config? How can i stop the Endian service?

VLAN's are configured in GUI, if your NIC allows them.

Network->Interfaces->VLAN. You can't be using in Endian the NIC while you configure the VLAN's, so you need two NICs.

Hi mrkroket,

thank you for your response.

I had loaded a backup and solved the problem. I had only access to the GUI over this damaged NIC. That was the problem. Shit happens!
