hi, i have problems with the endian 2.4.1, when the users in the net are more of 30 the internet navigation drop to slow, which can be the problem?, the proxy setting for cache managment?, thank for your help

nano /usr/lib/efw/dansguardian/default/settings
change the values as below:

MAXCHILDREN=500
MINCHILDREN=128
MINSPARECHILDREN=32
PREFORKCHILDREN=16
MAXSPARECHILDREN=256
MAXAGECHILDREN=10000

then;

nano /var/efw/havp/settings
change 2 values as below
MAXSERVERS=150
SERVERNUMBER=50

restart dansguardian and havp

What is the minimum and maximum object size you have defined under cache management?

This looks good.

What is your network scenario? May be there is a large broadcast when number of user increases.

What is your network scenario? May be there is a large broadcast when number of user increases.

i have 2 servers, for entire net, 1 efw 2.4.1 with aprox 25 users, is an ibm, with 8 gb in ram, the other server is a centos 5, this have aprox 35 users, this have 1 gb in ram,

the nano command is not useful, i put other command like run, set, echo, and need file privileges, how i can do, file privileges?

just open with nano editor and change the values and then "ctrl+o" for save the changes "ctrl+x" for exit. That's it...

i go to the web console and i canīt  open the nano command, and how i can have file privileges??
