Hi, & anybody can help me.

I am using Endian Community firewall V 2.5.1. One of the task is failing as described below

EFW Configuration:
RED, Orange and Green
Red--- Multiple IPs from ISP. x.x.x.208/28. Configured x.x.x.210/28 on RED interface
Orange--- DMZ servers with subnet 192.168.0.0/24. Configured 192.168.0.1 as Orange gateway
Green-- LAN with subnet 192.168.1.0/24. COnfigured 192.168.1.1 as green gateway

Email server IP x.x.x.222 which is not configured on server. Rather 192.168.0.13 is configured on the server
I used DNAT for configuring x.x.x.222 to 192.168.0.13 for natting.

I am able to send out emails.
I am able to ping to the IP x.x.x.222
I am able to telnet to IMAP, SMTP, POP3 ports from outside

The problem is when someone send email to my mail server, my mail server accepts the email but fails to deliver to mailboxes. It gives x.x.x.222 connection timeout

The same senario is working on Linksys with one to one nat enabled.

Note: from my email server, i am able to ping to any other IPs except for any IPs on RED interface.

All help is highly appreciated as i need to replace linksys with endian in production

Thanks,

Kartik

You can take advantage of antispam feature of EFW. Simply forward only pop and imap ports to your internal mail server and configure proxy -> email. This feature will accept emails from outside, scan them for spam and viruses and forward them to your internal mail server.

Thanks to who ever replied on the post.

Ne ways I found the solution. It was with Nat not getting handshaked.
