Backup uplink
«
on:

EFW server has 2 WAN interfaces.
What are the basics of using a backup uplink when the main fails? Is it true, that traffic must automatically return to main uplink after it comes up? I haven't been able to achieve this...
So, HOW TO?

When you done setup main uplink and uplink1
open and edit main uplink
enable "
if this uplink fails activate
" and point to uplink1
enable "
Check if these hosts are reachable
" and put website IP into it
"
Check if these hosts are reachable
" function is to allow main uplink continuous check if the IP given is reachable or not. If cant reach, it will say the Main uplink is done and thus will failover to the uplink1 mention is "
if this uplink fails activate
"
Hope this can help you
