hi! Everyone.. can you help me about access Policy under Proxy>HTTP. i try to config this access policy under Filter profile i set to name_i_assign (content 3). i try to browse the site and any site has block. they have any wrong to my config. ??? ??? ??? i hope you help me.. THANK YOU... i use EFW community 2.3

what the block message say? it must at least tells you if it's blocked url or wieght pharse etc..

hi! whoiam55 thank you for your reply.. the error is access denied.. if i set the filter profile in NONE i access any site.. i hope you help me....

The way default setup of Endian work is a little different, by default it don't run webproxy and only allow a few outgoing ports(namely 80,25,110,443,21 etc..).

This way you can think of it as a NAT router, What I did(most users would agree with me) I block everything from firewall, Turn on the webproxy and set it to transparent mode so that all the request for port 80,443 can be intercepted and routed thru our NAT interface.

By default, webproxy does nothing to the traffic it passing thru but the AV filtering only. You can test this by going to this link eicar.org/download/eicar.com

If you can duplicate your setup upto this point, It would be easy for me and ofcourse others to guide you further. Feel free to ask if there is any question.
