Title: SVN repo
Post by: andresmm on Saturday 14 April 2012, 02:33:50 am
I've been looking for a SVN repo of EFW sources, as far as I understand Endian is obligated by GPL licenses on IPCOP and SMOOTHWALL (and all the libraries, binaries, and even linux kernel used and modified by them) to publish in the right way the sources and the modifications done by them to the original sources.

I've found so far a bug issue report since 2008 without a concrete answer on the problem, this forum that doesn't even look like the "official" one and some incomplete SRPMS that are quite different from the source code.

To me this seems like a GPL recurring violation and on the benefit of the doubt and probably a misunderstanding I was wondering if there really is a SVN repo accessible from the outside like the one IPCOP has?

Endian Team is aware of this problem?

By any chance the rightful sources of the software covered by the GPl licences is accessible anyway?

Thanks in advance, and I hope to read an official response soon and the proper actions to be taken.

Best Regards

Andres

I agree. I don't see any links on the Endian website to download the original source code.

Try that on Mantis bugtracker.
This is not an official forum and I don't see an admin response here.... EVER!!!
