Hello,
I forwarded port 80 from the Red interface to a Win2003 IIS web/DNS server on my LAN (Green) and my site (ex:
www.mysite.com) was viewable from the Internet, but I couldn't browse to the site (
www.mysite.com) from any pc on the LAN. IE eventually timed out saying "cannot display the webpage".
As a work-a-round, I then added the web server LAN IP address and FQDN (domain name) to the local Windows hosts file on one of the LAN pc's, rebooted it and then I could access the web site.
I was previously using pfSense and don't recall having to do any special config to make this work... it was able to resolve just fine.
Do I need to configure something else in Endian to allow my LAN pc's to resolve to the internal web server? I'm using Endian Firewall Community release 2.2.rc1.
Thanks in advance.
Ben
