Hello.

I wish to see on Endian the ability to define Aliases and the ability to give access based on Active Directory Group/Username over all rules like work with the Squid Proxy.

For example:

If I add a rule to access or deny DNS request to OpenDNS servers it look like this: From IP_Address To 208.67.222.222 and I want to do the following From <user/group name> To 208.67.222.222.

The another thing is the alias. If I want to group a all OpenDNS and google DNS servers at the alias <DNS Servers> I want to define Aliases --> "DNS Servers" and add <Users/Groups> and/or <IP Address> and/or <Interface_name> and/or <mac_address> and/or <IP_Networks>, <other Aliases> etc.

The alias "DNS Servers" will be composed from "IP Address":
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
8.8.4.4
8.8.8.8

Then When a Rule have the "DNS Servers" alias Endian know that are talking about it's IP Addresses or on another case with user/group/mac/interface/....

Thanks. Great Firewall.

+1 The ability to use hostnames and groups throughout not necessarily AD just custom groups created in Endian
