Hello everybody,
in our office we have an endian community firewall 3.0 machine working fine since serveral years; the hardware on which the endian is running is starting to be too old and we want to "migrate" our actual configuration to a new computer with much more recent hardware components.

What is the best way to do this MAINTAINING all our special settings and configurations (vpn, in& out firewall rules, blacklists, network hosts, proxy settings,...)?
I have tried to start a new installation on the new hardware and then IMPORT a tar.gz backup file experted from the older machine, but it doesn't seem to load all the settings present in the various sections....

where is my mistake? am I missing something?
is there a better way to upgrade to a new hardware machine maintaining 100% of our actual settings & configurations?

Thank in advance for your answers
