I am running 2.1.2. and have the http proxy enabled in transparrent mode. It works fine for a few days then it stops all web access. Users behind the firewall can still ping sites and use ftp and ssh but it seems that the firewall is not passing on webpages.

If I deactivate the http proxy and restart the machine, It throws up an error about an unrecognised option in the firewall config and most services fail. The only option I have is to do a default setting restore and start from scratch.

Can anyone throw any light onto why it is doing this?

Thanks,

Matt
