I need some help with ENDIAN 3.2.0alpha1, when i trying to join to Windows 2008 R2 Active directory, appears error FAILED TO JOIN DOMAIN. I follow the tutorial published on the ENDIAN support portal "Web Proxy - Authentication (NTLM)" posted by Ben, without any success. Anybody has an idea what is wrong???

You have to manually edit the config file, specially if your domain has a composed name (i.e. name1.name2).
Connect with SSH and edit the winbind template conf file:

nano /etc/samba/winbind.conf.tmpl

comment the password server line and add your password server:
#password server = ${NTLM_PDC}.${NTLM_DOMAIN} #slurp
password server = DC.domain.local

same for workgroup and realm:

realm = domain.local
workgroup DOMAIN.local

save, restart and try to join.
If it doesn't work, change also the winbind.conf.

Also check this steps:

1) manually add your DC as host
2) add a DNS Routing to your domain
3) try to ping the DC and the domain from the Endian console

Welcome to my world!
I'm fighting against the proxy authentication since the 3.2.0b1 went out and I still don't have a solution.
Next week I'll try it in another domain.

I feel the same. From the latest updates see domain users and groups, but loading a rule on the proxy these users navigate stop. Which may be ?. Thank
Me pasa lo mismo. A partir de las ultimas actualizaciones logro ver los grupos y usuarios del dominio, pero al cargar una regla en el proxy estos usuarios dejan de navegar. Que podra ser ? Gracias
